In this section are reported some of my significant journey experiences that took place from the years 1986 to 2001 in different countries of the world. All the present images have been divided in different topic groups that represent a synthesis of the human experiences and of the knowledge of some of the most fascinating places of the world. In these years, a very important evolutive step, has been for me the passage from "photolover" directed to a reportage of trips with a traditional cut, to an observer of the costumes and usages of the populations met. All the series rapresented in this section tie together every single experience with particular caracteristics of the lands, of the people, of the traditions, of the beliefs; at the research of a lost era... in the faces, in the land between the people. The thing that fascinated me in these traveling years has been the understanding that the populations considered primitive at the eyes of a west observer, opinion caused from the usages, costumes and aspects of the life for us inusual or even strange to the concept of normal civilization; effectively have a sense of humanity and of acception of the relationships with different civilizations; we have lost this value from a lot of time. The same possibility to communicate without "talking", like the anthropologan Levi Strauss cites, limits us or even annul the possibility of falsehood. As a profound lover of the sea I was attracted, now, from the immense landscapes of the height deserts, from the hospitable calm of the forests, from the sky of Africa that makes your soul feel good, from the colors of the people, from the women, men and the kids, from their looks, their emotions and their suffering. Landscapes, areas in slow and irreversible degrade, people and populations of which, will remain just a longed for memory.
